Illustration for Valve's game Artifact. This is the spell card that accompanies the hero Chen whom I also illustrated. He is a paladin of sort that can cast magic to revitalize allies and shield them from damage. The broad strokes of this image came together unusually quickly which was a nice change. Character designs were based on pre-existing game models.
